This fall season, for me, can only be described as “vampy chic”. It has become my favorite fashion season of all time. It’s lots of leather, spikes, studs and dark lipstick.
Now before you think this:
Vamp no longer holds this stigma – it’s what “goth” or “emo” is for. Instead, vamp is more about sensualness, toughness and empowerment, with rich colors and materials.

In pulling it together:
While not the most flattering picture, you can at least get a sense of the look – an oxblood-colored leather skirt, sheer cream blouse and oxblood lips. The handbag is navy and is vintage Gucci.
While some think the vamp look is “harsh”, there are ways to pull off a more feminine version, aside from flatter-figuring cuts. It’s taking a risk and including something softer – like a sheer blouse. I complimented my look with layered necklaces, to match the stems of my shoes. It’s those touches that might bring an edge to the look, but still create a good balance.

Now… where to find the perfect lipstick.
Christian Dior has come out with the perfect shade: Rouge Dior – Hypnotic Red (#862). Pair it with their brand new Universal lip liner and you have a long-lasting perfect color, to compliment your outfit. It’s dramatic without being over the top.
