50 Shades of Eyeshadow, Michael Phelps in the Bathtub, Feline Fashion and Betsey Johnson’s Comeback
50 Shades of Grey has sparked all sorts of interesting new lines of products, ranging from ummm “specialized products”, to lingerie, to makeup. See which makeup line is now carrying limited edition sultry eyeshadow shades.
… and now for an ad that makes no sense. It says, “I just went swimming and decided the pool was too big, so now I’m in a tub, having a private moment with my Louis Vuitton, because the minute I get out of the tub, I’m putting my jeans on right away.”
[UPDATE] This is NOT a Louis Vuitton ad and in fact, they are furious that this image leaked, as they feel this is not within keeping of their corporate look. Umm… I think a few women might disagree. I don’t though. Who wears goggles in the bathtub?

For those of you who were worried they would never see a design from Betsey Johnson again, you were wrong! According to sources, she will be designing a line of dresses, under the Levy Group. There is no say where they will be sold yet though.
And, if that isn’t enough exciting Betsey news, don’t miss “Team Betsey” holding a Facebook competition, where fans can upload pictures of their own Betsey duds from the 60s, 70s and 80s and the winner will see their item strut the runway!

On a sad note, I’d like to take a moment of silence for Helen Gurley – the much-beloved and long-time editor of Cosmopolitan passed away on Monday. She was responsible for me loving fashion to begin with, as it was the one magazine my mom always bought for flights to our vacations.
