Let’s start off this week’s post with a little bling. IF you have a quarter-of-a-million dollars laying around, why not treat yourself to the ultimate nail polish? Yep, this polish, by Azature, now holds the title to owning The Most Expensive Nail Polish in the World. According to the article, there is a department store version as well – probably made of glitter instead.
… and speaking of bling (that is less pricey), Rachel Zoe‘s new jewelry collection has hit Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman! I love the art deco-inspired pieces!
Ryan Lochte creates physical vs. mental confusion in women (he’s way hot until he speaks) so I found the Women’s Health interview with him to just prove this very observation. Ryan, you nailed it – you do dress differently from everyone else. You’re one step away from owning a Bedazzler. (Take a look at this video montage for proof.) Oh, and I’m sure all the other Olympic swimmers are thrilled to know you peed in their pool.
… and speaking of swimming… Diane von Furstenberg has teamed up with ROXY to produce a small, limited collection of swimwear, mixing her prints with their silhouettes.
While keeping with the “youthful” theme for a second, check out H&M’s home collection. Yep, it sells everywhere else EXCEPT for the U.S. until (hopefully) stateside next year!
… and on the topic of kitties, check out Choupette‘s first pictoral spread. Such a cute kitty!
Per my post last week, I talked about how I was in love with Madonna’s Truth or Dare shoe collection. Well, it appears that Britain agrees with me. Her pop up shop in Selfridges has had to re-order and is fast becoming their most successful pop-up shop to-date.
Now for the best news I’ve heard all day – Karl Lagerfeld powders his hair. Seriously. When I saw the title to this article, I was so hoping he was going to say he bought the wig from a George Washington auction. (This has now led me to try to picture Lagerfeld in colonial garb, which he could totally pull off.)
… and speaking of eccentric individuals… watch out L.A.! John Galliano is moving into town.
What’s not eccentric – the neutral must-haves to help transition summer to fall. Check out what The Cut has put together for late summer!
Finally, I’ve just wasted almost two minutes of my life, watching the most bizarre Prada commercial I have ever seen. I’m assuming the creators/producers/models were ingesting hallucinogenic drugs beforehand?
