Last night was declared an official “Girls Night Out” when hosts Allison Brooks and former Miss DC 2006 Kate Michael hosted a Miss America Viewing Party at City Tavern Club. Ladies (and even one pint-sized male guest) snacked on chocolate-covered everything (along with a few other hors d’ oeuvres), sipped on cocktails, dressed up in tiaras and boas, and cheered on the Miss America contestants. Although we’re sad to say that Miss DC did not make it into the top 15, she did win the Best Interview Award. I’d also like to congratulate Miss Virginia for making it into the Top 12!

Once the pageant was over (congratulations Miss Wisconsin), some of us headed over to L2 to celebrate the birthdays of Tino Angelov and Matt Schwartz. Happy birthday you two!
