Capital City Ball Gown
When on the hunt for the perfect ball gown I got pretty frustrated by what I was seeing: a lot of New Years and a lot of prom-themed gowns. So I threw the challenge out to Facebook. I ended up going to Aram at Tysons Galleria. Aram Itani, its owner, has been styling foreign dignitaries, pageant contestants, celebrities and many wealthy ladies in the area for over 20 years. She travels all over the world to buy gowns, clutches, accessories and other clothing items to carry. She’s met with notable designers that some in the U.S. may have never heard of but are astounding artists in their craft, including the Greek designer who made the jewelry for the last Sex and the City movie, which she carries.
When I walked in, I felt like I stepped into a land fit for a princess. Every gown is so beautiful and so unique from the other – most of them couture. Given my budget, my selection was a bit smaller but in the end the perfect gown was there – both in price and in style. I chose a gown from the Terani Couture collection. See the gown here:
