Noteworthy: Shoot for Change and Capital Breast Care Center Project
A few months ago, Walter Grio of Shoot for Change asked me if I wanted to participate in a special photography project to honor those who have had/have breast cancer. This project would result in an exhibit on April 19th, that would raise money for this center. Of course, I happily obliged.
What I didn’t realize was what impact this project would have on me. Each participant was required to say, in one word, phrase, or sentence how breast cancer impacts you. Having two friends that have had it, the impact was through them but it was more powerful than I expected. This project made each of us stop and think about how truly fragile life really is. Thus, what you see on my photo below.
I want to thank Walter again, as well as Christa Floresca of Pink Jams, for this opportunity. To find out more about CBCC, visit here. To find out more about Shoot for Change, visit here.
